Hi

This past weekend was so nice. The boys came over to stay the night on Friday because we were taking them to the pool on Sat. I was a little anxious since it would be the first time the both had spent the night.

They all had a great time though Friday night. It's like my three sons, but not so traditional I guess you could say. We got up early and ate breakfast and got ready to go to the pool. I was so excited. Since I am not working and don't really know to many people, I pretty much stay around the house right now. But Sat. I was bursting with excitement. I couldn't wait to leave and got everyone ready like an hour before it was even time to leave.

The community center has 2 indoor pools. One is a lap pool and one is like a miniature water park. There's a big slide, a small lazy river, and a place for kids to play, with a little water play gym. For around 20 bucks we went and played and spent the entire freaking day. All the kids were tired and so were we...but we weren't done yet...I was a craving some Pizza.

The boys got to spend the night again, since it was fathers day...and I really wanted it to be special for him. On Sunday I could hear him moving around upstairs, but I wanted the boys to sign some cards and surprise him with them. They were all giddy and happy to give him something. So I made a plan and told them. I went upstairs to get him, and within 5 minutes, all boys had forgotten the plan. Heh...it was cute though. Donnie coming up the stairs with the card from him and Shawn behind his back.

We spent the day at the park, my 4 boys, Bella the girl pup, a friend of ours, and me. It was nice, if not a little hot. Afterwards we went out to dinner. Which had some nice eye candy for me to look at...lol. Its nice to see a hot chick and be able to discuss it with your husband ;)

We also asked his/ our friend Paul to be my labor buddy if we need it. Slim is moving to a new dept. that has more traveling. I was a little scared there would not be anyone here to get me to a hospital (which I have no idea where they are) if I went into labor. So we asked Paul. He said yes of course, even if Slim is here I plan on being at the hospital...awwww....he's so nice, we just need to find him a nice chick. Anyone available?

The boys did not go home till Monday morning, and even then Donnie did not want to go. He ran up the stairs and hid under a blanket because he wanted to stay here and wait for slim to come home from work.

Oh I almost forgot...

While we were at the park some kids got their kite stuck in this tree that really looks like a very long twig. All skinny and stuff. People were standing around, with no one really helping them, until...
He climbed the tree. Yep. My baby climbed the twig and got their kite. I laughed the whole time because I could just see that twig tilting and breaking with him at the top...one leg spread out as the thing came down yelling AHHHHHHHH....

but it didn't break. And I was so proud of him. He didn't have to do it. He did not even say anything, just saw what was going on and walked over there and started climbing. That's who he is. That's the man I married. Loving, caring, fun, irresistible to danger. LOL....not really that part, but not to many people climb high twigs to get a kite down for kids that they do not even know. Hell, not many people would have even looked twice. But he did. Because that's who he is. Sweet, wonderful, kind, generous.......

Baby, I hope you had a wonderful fathers weekend. Not just a day...you deserve so much more than that. I love you so much, more and more as each day passes. It's all the little things you do that amaze me and make my heart swell. From climbing twigs to taking apart toys to fix them. We love you.
