Maybe...and something VERY serious....
Tomorrow I go for another interview with the Deputy Clerks office of the Superior Court. I had a test there last Tuesday and they did an impromptu interview with two of the main clerks, and told me that they would call me this week to set up another interview.
Actually last week I went for a test and I scored so well they had me retake it because the lady thought she was reading the score wrong. I retook it and that is when she and another lady did two quick interviews and then said we will call you next week to set up another interview.
They called Friday. The clerk who called said that they were giving me first choice at the interview time and that it will be a panel interview in front of all the clerks for all the depts. She also once again reminded me that it was entry level and that I was more qualified than that. I told her that the hours were what I was looking for and it was relative to my degree so entry level is just fine.
So tomorrow I go for a job interview for a job that I want. I have had interviews in the last year for different positions, but this is an interview for something I want, an interview that seems more real, and I am scared crapless.
So any good vibes, suggestions, anything will be great.

Life in GA is wonderful. Although I am ready to not be pregnant anymore, things are wonderful. I think he has gotten to see the boys more in the last week than he has been able to since Valentines Day, and I am so happy for him.
I consider all three boys, R., S., and D., ours. And I am so glad that they are able to become part of our family. I hope she continues with being open to it. Ryan sees them as his step brothers, and really I am not going to tell him any different.
I love my family, my life, everything. I seriously do not think I have been this happy in a long long time.

Okay now the very serious part.
On June 5th a vote is going to be held to place an amendment against same sex marriage in the constitution. This is a very important vote, and while you may be thinking it doesn't affect me, it does. It affects everyone, whether directly or indirectly.
You can read up on some headlines here...Bush to push amendment to ban same-sex marriage
Take just a moment out of your time and please send a postcard to the senators letting them know that we as Americans will not stand for a discriminatory amendment to be placed in the constitution here Vote NO
This may not be important to you right now, you may be thinking that it does not even affect you, but it does, it is, it will. By allowing this vote to happen without speaking up we are saying that it is okay to place an amendment, the first in 200 years that discriminates against a class of people in our country. It is important to someone you know. Someone you care about. You may not know who it is, or they may just be a friend you have met online, however they need all of us to speak up for them.
Our country is divided. Bush's approval rating is at 29%. Currently it is lower than Nixon's when he was impeached. Do not allow a persons rights, a persons freedoms to scapegoat him out of issues that really need his attention, such as the war, the rising gas prices, the cuts that more and more Americans are feeling, the people still struggling because of last years hurricane season, the many Americans without health-care, the medicare fiasco.
We as one country, as one body need to review our past and see what placing discriminatory language in the constitution does to our country. It does more than divide it. It destroys it.
Our country was almost lost once. We enslaved people, humans, and treated them as only part person. Do we really want to revisit history?
No matter if you agree with same sex marriage or not, the issue is much bigger than that. It is an issue of allowing a free country to become only free for some. And to me that is the biggest disgrace we as a nation could ever face.
